About This Experience

If you've ever thought screen printing with the photo emulsion method was too intimidating or had too many steps, come join us to discover how easy it is to use Speedball Speed Screens, no matter your experience level!

You will learn how to screenprint while learning how simple and fast it is to use Speedball Speed Screens!  We will demonstrate each step for creating a photo-positive stencil with Speed Screens.  Tips and tricks for working with Speed Screens will be shared to empower you to get the most out of this great product.

You will learn about the various applications that Speed Screens can be used for, from printmaking to ceramics.

During the printing session of the workshop, you will experience pulling a print from your very own pre-exposed Speed Screen using Speedball Acrylic Screen Printing Inks on printmaking paper.  We’ll also have a station set up for printing on can-koozies using Speedball Flex Fabric Screen Printing Inks.

Kim Dunham completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 1995 with dual concentrations in painting and drawing. A 29-year veteran of the art materials industry, she uses her passion for the arts, extensive materials knowledge, and creative skills to guide her as a Product Manager for Speedball Art Products.
