About This Class

In this thematic six-week course you will create a body of new drawings that will use your personal experiences, memories, and reflections as source material. We will examine a number of contemporary artists who similarly work with a diaristic approach as a way to ground our discussions of selfhood and drawing. Daily drawing exercises will complement a number of larger projects that will be developed by you in relation to the weekly discussion topics. Suitable for all levels.
