About This Class

This two-day workshop will provide for an exploration of this fascinating paint medium, egg tempera, used throughout history because of its durability, luminous colours and satin finish that is unlike another other form of paint. You will discover the excitement of making your own paint using egg yolk emulsion combined with pigment and learn how to apply it to the surface of your drawings and paintings. Historic methods and contemporary applications will be discussed. Suitable for all levels.
