Cotton & Linen Blend
Introducing the Black label series of canvases from Opus! These special limited edition Cotton & Linen Blend canvases offer the high tensile strength and traditional look of linen with the value of cotton, and are not readily found online or in other art supplies stores.
Featuring a blend of 55% linen & 45% cotton, these canvases are stretched on 1½” deep basswood bars and back-stapled, designed for presence and impact. Each canvas is primed with 2 coats of gesso for a finished weight of 320 gsm, ready to paint with acrylics. For oil painting, we recommend two or more additional coats of gesso to achieve your best results.
Wooden stretcher bar keys are included with each canvas so you can tighten your canvas to your desired tautness.
