About This Experience

Join us for plein air painting with Charlie Easton virtually on sight!  Unless the weather deems otherwise Charlie will be painting out doors.

You will learn about Charlie’s oil painting and plein air setup while gaining tips on becoming more comfortable with your materials, finding a storyline in your surroundings, and capturing valuable information from your time outdoors.  Getting ’something’ might not be a finished painting, but it will be an authentic story of the place, time and your mindset.  

Learn the value of focus by incorporating it into your art practice and witness your growth as an artist.

Opus Essential Odourless Solvents

Oil Brushes - various shapes and sizes

Birch Panel - primed with gesso and acrylic gloss medium

About Your Host

Charlie Easton is an award-winning painter of landscapes and seascapes in oils and acrylics. Galleries across North America and Europe represent him. He is a Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (SFCA) and studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and Emily Carr University. His teaching is in demand, and he is a faculty member at the Plein Air Convention.
