Mixed Media Acrylic with Vic Hollins
About This Experience
Join Vic Hollins as she demonstrates the seamless integration of Amsterdam Acrylics with Micron pens to create a charming & illustrative bird. You will be guided through a series of techniques, emphasizing colour mixing tips using a limited palette. Vic will also go over how to manipulate the viscosity of the paint, incorporate interference metallics, and explore the interaction between Acrylics and Micron pens.
If you choose to paint along, please sketch or transfer a Pigeon before the demo, so you are ready to partake!

About Your Host
Vic has a BFA with an emphasis on illustration and is interested in creating beautiful, layered, mixed-media illustrations. Inspired heavily by the desert, patterns, and colour, her illustrations are vibrant and complex.
Since 2016, Vic has been an art ambassador for Royal Talens and has internationally taught workshops, demos and paints for them often. She has worked closely with various art distributors, such as Sakura, Princeton, Strathmore & Ampersand.
