When vertically oriented, it can be used for painting in oils and acrylics, and for sketching. In just seconds, it can be changed to a horizontal position for painting in watercolours, or applying gesso or varnish.

The Deluxe Lobo Easel also features a built-in shelf for keeping books or supplies at hand. It is easily adjusted to tilt at various angles, including a forward position suitable for working in pastels or charcoal.
