Opus Orange
Opus Orange is a vibrant, semi-opaque orange made with the red-shade version of PO73. In masstone, it offers bold coverage, but it easily dilutes into smooth, semi-transparent washes. It has a warm, friendly character in mixtures, adding body and a glowing warmth to more transparent pigments.
Excellent for painting vibrant autumn scenes, desert landscapes, glowing sunsets, citrus fruits, and fall foliage. Its clean, clear hue also makes it perfect for expressive floral work and adding warmth to portraiture—think sun-kissed cheeks and coral-toned lips. As a secondary colour that sits between red and yellow on the colour wheel, Opus Orange adds harmony and balance to any season's palette.

Mixing Gold
Mixing Gold is a blend of Red Iron Oxide and Diarylide Yellow, which offers a warm, earthy gold hue with high opacity and excellent lightfastness. While it was originally created in an attempt to replicate the now discontinued Quinacridone Gold, this colour has many similarities, however it mixes with other colours a little differently and is not as strong or overpowering as Quinacridone Gold.
This mixture provides a non-metallic gold alternative, useful for artists seeking a rich, golden hue without using metallic pigments. Perfect for adding warmth to landscapes, illustrating golden objects, and enhancing autumnal scenes.
