Liquitex Glazing Medium fulfills your need for speed. It dries rapidly to allow fast layering of brilliant, transparent colour. Because it is non-yellowing, the colour of the transparent layers remains true through time. It has good leveling properties and dries to a clear, glossy film.

Although any proportions of paint can be used with this medium, your best transparency will result from using small amounts of colour and choosing pigments which are inherently transparent to begin with. With this medium, your final paint film will remain flexible after drying.
