I found the Indian yellow an amazing color. It has so much vitality, individually or mixed with other colors. It makes a lovely lime green when mixed with ultramarine blue.
I love the canson mixed media plein air block. It does so many unexpected things for example, great surprises when doing clouds.
W N Watercolours are probably the best for the saturation of the pigments, although it’s probably a good idea to experiment with other brands and compare. Some colours there can be as vivid. Good to check the lightfastness.
My only problem is Opus won’t bring in Windsor Newton series 6 brushes. The problem is, none of the others are nearly as good; don’t keep a point as long or hold as much water. I hope they bring them back! They are expensive but worth it.
