Whether for tightly controlled drawing or sweeping gestural strokes, the Nitram Bâton works wonders to enable you to achieve your best results. And it does all this while keeping your hands clean.
The lightweight 8" long plastic holder accepts the Nitram Mignonette charcoal sticks which are approximately 3/16" square × 6" long (4 mm × 15 cm). With its sliding ring, you can adjust the length of stick protruding from the baton’s end, depending on how you wish to work. Get more expressive strokes and work from your arm for more smooth, fluid marks, and step back from your work to see more of the bigger picture.
The Nitram Mignonettes are velvety smooth and make rich black marks. The Bâton and sticks together form a tool that is excellent for life drawing, sketching, shading and portraiture.
