Join artist Samantha Williams-Chapelsky for a demonstration on using QoR watercolours on panel to create a unique landscape without the need for glass! Samantha will showcase surface preparation techniques, alternative grounds for added texture, and some techniques to consider while using the highly pigmented QoR Watercolours! While demonstrating, Samantha will also share some of her techniques for semi-abstract landscape painting with watercolours.

About Your Host

Samantha Williams-Chapelsky completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Alberta in 2009, with distinction, majoring in painting and art history. Samantha showcases her work in public and commercial galleries across Canada and the United States. She is most known for her abstract landscape paintings that use textured acrylic and oil paints. Samantha is also an instructor in plein air, studio, and for the business practices of being an artist.
