About Your Host
Max Black is a Pébéo Product Specialist based in Ottawa, ON. She spends her days visiting communities, meeting new people, and making art with them. Convinced that laughter and love are precious medicines, she uses her art and teaching to help individuals grow and expand on a personal level through their artwork and creativity.
In her artistic practice, Max explores the role that myths, stories, and pop culture play in our lives. Observing these relationships and expressing her findings through diverse media, she examines how fiction shapes our understanding of reality.
