About Your Host

Charlie Easton SFCA comes from a family of British artists but now lives and works in Vancouver, Canada. He’s a prolific outdoor painter of mountainscapes and seascapes in acrylics and oils, and his work can be found in galleries across Canada, the US, Mexico and Europe. He teaches internationally and is a regular Plein Air Convention faculty member. He is obsessed with the movement and drama of the wild and sacred landscapes that are now his home. His paintings aim to capture only the most important and telling elements of a scene as spontaneously and as immediately as possible.
