About This Experience

You are invited to join us for a live mixed-media portrait demonstration by Jeremiah Birnbaum! He will create a portrait using graphite pencils, Sakura micron pens, alcohol-based markers, and coloured pencils. Jeremiah developed this drawing technique to establish a daily sketching routine, and he now showcases these drawings as a cohesive body of work.

During the presentation, he will break down the process into three categories: the construction stage, the rendering phase, and the use of various mediums to complete the portrait.

This Opus Art Supplies Granville Island event will have a try-it station available!  On the event day, participants can explore a selection of event-related materials and gain hands-on experience after the artist's presentation.
