Imagination & Portraiture with Harvey Chan
About This Experience
Harvey will share his technique and concept of creating a believable human face from imagination at this drawing demonstration. Based on a fundamental understanding of how facial structure relates to a light source, Harvey will guide you through the process, from identifying the common light and dark patterns to the transitional mid-tone shapes and the darkest planes. With the soft pastel on toned paper and water-soluble crayons, Harvey will show how to create an imaginative portrait with a spirit of adventure and improvisation.
