About Your Host
Diego Narvaez is a visual artist from Mexico City who lives on Vancouver Island. His work has developed while looking for a deep understanding of the contemporary landscape. From painting in Antarctica and Iceland to the Pacific Northwest and Mexico, he constantly explores new ways to approach the land and create meaningful artworks. In recent years, he has collaborated with ocean scientists, indigenous artists, and local communities to create art that reflects our relationship with different environments.
