This baren for printmaking is a tool that is traditionally used in Japanese woodblock printing to apply even pressure to the block. It is also a perfect tool for your linocuts and rubber stamps.
These baren are made out of beech wood. The disc is completely flat which makes it easy to make a print with smaller stamps or linocuts as you can apply equal pressure to the whole surface of the print. The baren is easy and comfortable to hold because of the shaped grip. The wood is finished with a single layer of linseed oil, to make it easier to clean and to prevent from ink soaking into the wood. Size 1 cm diameter Comfortable grip, wooden handle Made in the Netherlands
