Catcher blankets are used closest to your printing surface, the bottom of the three usual printmaking blankets. These blankets are made from dense wool felt. They assist in distributing the pressure evenly, and keep your cushion blanket clean of sizing or contaminates from the damp, prepared printmaking paper.
