Since the inception of the Classic Gelly Roll¬ in 1987, Sakura has developed the Gelly Roll¬ into an assortment of gel pens with incredible effects and colours. The technology involved has allowed the gel pens to be water-based while retaining the opaque viscosity of oil-based pens.
Over the years Sakura has developed and refined the materials used in the manufacturing of the gel ink and mainly uses quality refined pigments for their inks. The advantage of using a quality refined pigment for the ink is that it provides waterproof, fade resistant, non-bleeding and archival pens for lasting results.
These versatile gel pens can be used for drawing or writing on dark paper, decorating your journal, adding highlights to your illustration, or crafts with kids.
