The frame mouldings we've brought in for this spring are all the frames are made in Europe and are FSC certified. Whether you're framing a landscape painting, a bold mixed-media piece, or a cherished photograph, these new collections offer something for every style and budget.

Here's a look at what's new.

The Essence line is all about understated elegance. These frame mouldings feature a beautiful natural wood finish — you can see the grain, feel the warmth — complemented by soft, subtle colour washes in shades like dusty grey, powder blue, blush pink, terracotta, cream, sage green, and muted rose.

The result is a frame that feels both contemporary and organic. The colour is present, but it never overpowers; the wood always shows through. This makes Essence mouldings incredibly versatile — equally at home around a plein air oil painting, a watercolour botanical, or a fine art print.

The Quora line takes colour further. These mouldings feature a pronounced wood grain finish — the texture is rich and tactile — across a broader, more saturated palette. Where Essence whispers colour, Quora speaks it confidently.

The collection brings together a range of warm and cool tones with genuine visual depth, making it ideal for artists and collectors who want their frame to contribute character to the presentation. The wood grain finish adds an artisanal quality that sets these apart from painted or lacquered alternatives.

Quora frame mouldings are particularly well-suited to creating custom cap-and-liner combinations — layering two complementary mouldings for a more distinctive, gallery-style look. The variety of tones makes mixing and matching genuinely fun.

Great for: Bold contemporary paintings, mixed media works, and anyone who wants a frame with personality.

The Fenice line is for those who love the timeless look of a decorative, carved-style frame. Featuring intricate floral and scroll relief patterns, these frame mouldings are available in four classic finishes: antique white, gold, champagne/silver, and matte black.

Each finish brings a different mood to the same elegant profile — gold feels traditional and warm, champagne reads as quietly luxurious, antique white suits Scandinavian or cottage interiors, and matte black gives the ornate pattern a modern, graphic edge.

We expanded the Fenice range this season in direct response to customer requests. Decorative frames have been consistently popular, and we wanted to offer a stronger selection in this category.

Great for: Oil paintings, portraits, traditional and classical artwork, and any piece that benefits from a more formal, gallery-worthy presentation.

Our most richly detailed ornate option, the Bardot line of frame mouldings feature an elaborate, deeply carved scrollwork and foliate pattern finished in an antiqued gold and "Night Gold" (shown top)— a tone that sits between burnished bronze and aged gilt. The shadow and highlight play across the relief creates a sense of real depth and craftsmanship.

Bardot frames make a statement. They draw the eye, command the wall, and elevate whatever is inside them. At the same time, the dark antique finish is warmer and more versatile than bright gold, pairing well with both traditional oil paintings and bold contemporary works.

Great for: Large-scale paintings, portraiture, fine art photography, and artwork destined for a prominent display.
