Willow Wolfe Callia - Spotter

A spotter is a round shape with a short, tight blend of hair. The shorter hair has less flex than the round or liner brush, for accurate detail in small areas.

The spotter shape is created with Willow Wolfe's Cultured Synthetic, the filaments are etched to create microscopic pockets for colour to absorb into and release evenly. The spotter is all about controlled colour application due to the tight blend of filaments.

I was recommended the Willow Wolfe Callia Mixed Media Brushes by a staff member who told me they were her favorite—and they definitely did not disappoint!

As someone who can be pretty rough on my brushes, I’m incredibly impressed with the stability of the bristles and the beautiful strokes I’m able to achieve. I primarily paint with watercolor, but as a makeup artist and hairstylist, I definitely have a tendency to scrub harder than I should!

They’ve held up beautifully, and for the quality, I think they’re also a fantastic price. It’s always a bonus when you find brushes that perform this well without breaking the bank!
