About the product

Unprimed Medium Belgian Linen Canvas by the Foot 8oz 86" W

Work with the best! Linen is considered still to be the very best support for oil painting due to its qualities of excellent tensile strength, and distinctive texture and character.

Belgium has been producing high quality linen fabrics of all kinds for hundreds of years. Linen contains long, strong fibres, with a characteristic slubbed texture, and natural grayish brown colour.

Use this canvas to stretch very large, important works with confidence, knowing that the support for your painting will last for a long, long time.

Prices are listed per foot. The minimum shipping requirement for canvas is 9 ft. All by-the-foot products are final sale, no returns or exchanges will be processed.

Is this linen brown? I do not want grey linen. Thanks😊

Opus Art Supplies

Hi Deborah, yes this linen is grey-- it's a similar shade to the toned sketchbooks!
