A paper developed specifically for alcohol based marker artists!

The Strathmore 400 Series Marker Pad work well with alcohol based inks, water-based markers, solvent-based markers, pen, ink, and mechanical pencils because of the bleed and feather proof surface. The paper is intended for quick sketches, design, renderings, and finished pieces.

The ultra smooth surface of this 5.5 lb, acid-free, smooth, white paper allows for markers to glide and blend easily while creating crisp and even strokes without wrecking marker nibs.

Paper great; binding could be better

This paper is great: thick enough that markers don’t bleed through to the other side, allowing you to use both sides of each page. But the binding leaves something to be desired. Just turning the pages of the notepad makes the pages come loose from the binding, whether you want them to or not. It should be a bit harder to detach them, so the notepad stays intact until you actually want to pull a page out. I think next time I’ll look for a pad with similar paper, but with a spiral binding.
