High-quality versatile paper that's affordable.

Stonehenge was created in 1972 specifically as a 100% cotton deckled paper for the printmaking community, made to rival the more expensive European mouldmade papers. It was quickly adopted not just by printmakers, but by artists across working in a broad spectrum of media.

Over the years it has gained worldwide recognition as a paper that works wonderfully across as a range of other fine art applications. This versatility, combined with its affordability, has helped Stonehenge become our most popular artist paper for students and professionals alike.

Use them all the time - some quality issues though

I use Stonehenge paper for the majority of my screen prints and they are my go to paper due to the price point. The one issue I had this time was that there were spots on the paper. I’m not too sure what they are but I didn’t realize that the marks were there till I brought the paper to the studio and prepped them. I like the paper but its not always handled or transported well/ I’ve noticed some quality issues with the brand as of late.

Great Paper, but could use more care

I purchased several sheets of Stonehenge paper and love that paper for drawing. However, several of the sheets had scratches across them, that were only revealed after bringing them into my studio. I typically look very closely at the sheets I buy to make sure they are free of dents and scratches, but sometimes they get overlooked. It’s hard to trust that the paper I get from Opus is going to be in sellable condition, so I must always remind myself to look very carefully at the pages, as they may not have had much quality checking before they were put out to sell.
