Canvas offsets are an indispensable part of front-loading frames. They keep your canvas securely in the frame. Offsets are flat pieces of metal shaped like a right-angled "S". One end of the "S" is screwed into the back edge of stretched canvas and the other end overlaps the back of the frame, effectively clipping your canvas to the frame.

The size of offsets that you need is determined by the distance between the back of the canvas’ stretcher bar and the back of the frame. This should correspond to the size of the middle of the "S" or the "rise". Allow your projects on canvas to shine with front-loading frames and their sidekicks the offsets.

Contains 8 ͖" offsets and 8 Phillips #6 screws.

Please note: ⅛", ¼", ͖", ½", ¾", 1", and 1 ¼" offsets sold as singles are available in-store only.

Why you SHOULD shop at Opus

Not only is the staff at Opus knowledgeable and engaging, their cheerful demeanour and the fact they somehow remember your name, makes shopping for supplies so enjoyable. I have always been able to find the supplies I need and if not they search it out for me. It is always a pleasure shopping here.

A necessity

I have now eight canvases ready to go. Means I can pick up one in the months ahead and put my paint upon what I see before me where ever I may take myself. I paint usually outside on site. So I may experience great adventures ... And produce something in the alchemy of paint.
