    Solid quality for inking lines, though I find it comes up a little under vigorous erasing. Ink lay-down feels a touch "gritty" next to other brands of the same fineness on my same sketchbooks. This means that, on the one hand, you have excellent control for precision as the pen grips at the paper a bit. On the other, if you're hoping for a nice, smooth lay-down of ink, you will have to exert more exacting control less your pen nib get 'caught'.

    It's been a standard part of my kit since high school due to nostalgia, but I'd say if you have a bit more in your wallet, treat yourself to a nicer brand with smoother ink control that has more lasting power if you're erasing pencil lines beneath your ink work.
