About the product

Speedball Professional Relief Inks 235ml

Speedball has developed a line of artist-quality relief inks that are a water-miscible, oil-based printmaking ink. With the highest quality, lightfast pigments and no fillers, the results are rich, intense, crisp prints with archival qualities that artists demand.

The ink is formulated with the working properties artists desire - inks roll-out consistently, transfer beautifully, and hold even the finest details. Most importantly, they easily clean up with soap and water!

Much better than older oil based

Water clean up is magic. Otherwise works as well as before. Dry time is very slow though. It took a few days (2 or 3) before it was not tacky. Even then, if placed against paper, it would still stick a bit. This is my reason for one less star.

Rich dark ink

Love this ink for my hand coloured linocuts.
If you live in Vancouver allow plenty of time for it to dry.
