A top-quality product, Sennelier's oil pastels are steeped in history, and have been used by modern masters including Pablo Picasso!
Classic hues and a selection of unique shades are available, including a great range of greys, required for a balanced palette. Sennelier oil pastels are products that make use of the components used in all Sennelier colours: top quality pigments, an extremely pure synthetic binding medium and mineral wax. The pigments are ground with an inert, non-siccative binding medium that does not oxidize and that has no effect upon either film stability or surface. This base is then mixed with wax (neutral pH). The balance of this mix provides Sennelier oil pastels with a unique smoothness and a creamy texture that allows for a great deal of freedom in pictorial expression.
The Sennelier oil pastels possess an extraordinarily high pigment content, providing them with saturated colour and excellent coverage, excellent brightness and a high degree of light stability (with the exception of metallic and fluorescent shades).
The Oil Pastel range includes 11 classic colours and 1 iridescent colours.
Sennelier's Standard Oil pastels are 3/8" in diameter and 2 1/2" long

I bought the Sennelier Oil pastels and they are so vibrant and blend so well with all other type of pastels that they make the art come alive and show such depth and texture. I love them.
This review is actually for the soft pastel, not the oil. However, it’s more based on the terrible customer service I received when discussing an issue with the staff and not the product, which is usually a great brand. I think it may be specific to certain pigments in a box I purchased. They do not stand by the website return details, but the main issue is the disrespectful attitude. I spend a lot of money on high quality art supplies and I’ll be spending that money online moving forward unfortunately.
Unfortunately I lost them before I got home.😢
