Opus Fraser Box Easel

Great design and utility

I’ve only had this table easel for a short while but it’s been great so far. It holds a board or stretched canvas securely in slots in the high/low extensions. It can be adjusted to very low angles (and flat of course). What’s especially nice is that at most angles the lower extension can actually go below the level of the table, so you can work low while seated. The hardware seems good quality and is easy to work with. The interior drawer can hold a lot of supplies (though not paper). Both the easel part and drawer latch closed securely and the whole unit can be tucked away into a small space. It has some pretty grippy rubber feet so it should not move under a reasonable amount of working pressure, though I wouldn’t recommend leaning on the easel. All in all it’s pretty flexible and versatile in a fairly small package.

I love it. It’s so easy to use and fits perfectly on my table. Doesn’t take up a lot of room bi move it from kitchen table to patio to coffee table. This is my favourite easel yet

No instructions provided setting it up. Maybe they were missing in my box. Otherwise love it!

I’m very happy with the Box Easel. It doesn’t take up much space. It’s all I need as I am doing small paintings of birds at the moment.

I purchased this for my budding artist grand-daughter. I was hoping it would provide a way of keeping her art supplies in one spot, easy to access and use. It partially does this. I like the 'suitcase' feel to it and it feels solid and well-made. It works beautifully on a table-top. However, I have two suggestions: a) the drawer has dividers that limit what can go into them. Specifically, when I purchased this I also bought her a nice set of water paints, these don't fit in the draw unless they are taken apart and put in individually. It would also be great if there were someway to store a bit of paper with the easel - it looks like you should be able to do this (there is enough space between the box and the easel when the easel is folded for storage but the stuff just falls out.

Well made , with thoughtful design

This was gifted to my husband for Christmas as he had been talking about getting back into painting. This is the perfect tabletop easel with storage and is very sturdy. We have limited space in our home and this easel is very portable and easy to set up / put away.

Great storage drawer w/ inlays so materials can be separated.
Easily unfolds from a “suitcase” inti an easel.
Different angles can be chosen which is helpful.
