Crafted to the same specifications as our Custom Stretched Canvas, this locally-made surface is primed for your paintings in acrylic, oil, and more.
Opus Finest Primed Canvases are a superior quality, classic white surface on which to begin your work. The stretcher frames are constructed from 1½″ deep heavy duty pine bars, and are reinforced with cross-braces and gussets for optimum stability. The canvas is also double-primed on 7oz / 237gsm medium-texture canvas, and professionally stretched over the frame.
This canvas is ready to paint with acrylics. We recommend at least two additional coats of Opus Essential Gesso when painting with oils.
