Opus Essential Acrylic Colours are an artist grade, heavy-body paint at a remarkable price point.
Produced in small batches in the United States with a quality first approach, they feature high concentrations of permanent, intense, reliable pigments.
Creamy and thick in consistency, they retain brush strokes well and are perfect for carving with a palette knife. These colours can also be thinned liberally with Opus or GOLDEN Mediums to increase their flow, or alter their sheen, without sacrificing intensity of pigment.
Use them indoors or outdoors for fine art applications, craft projects, and murals.

I bought the bucket of white paint, as I use quite a considerable amount in my pour painting. I mix it with floetrol. I have bought your white buckets previously and the paint was nice and creamy and easy to mix. This one, however, is very solid and gelatinous and difficult to mix with the flow mediums. Not sure if I will buy it again.

This creamy paint feels almost scoopable, like luscious ice cream—but of course, it's destined for my canvas, not a cone. Ah, if only!
Some suppliers don't charge shipping costs when orders exceed $50. I hope Opus may adopt this system soon?
These acrylics offer deep, intense colors which I love.
They also offer a very distinct aroma, which was unexpected. It won't stop me from buying more.
