The Monet™ Pro Muir canvas pairs acrylic-primed Belgian linen with Masterpiece’s 1-1/2″ deep professional construction, delivering a surface prized for its balance of tooth, durability, and versatility.

Stretched using Masterpiece’s proprietary MuseumWrap™ back-stapled system, this canvas achieves exceptional, evenly distributed tension. The folded (uncut) corners allow the canvas to be removed and re-stretched on the same frame if ever required.

The Muir™ linen is double-sized and double-primed with acid-free acrylic gesso, creating an impenetrable yet flexible ground. Its naturally open weave provides tactile feedback and excellent paint adhesion while the Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂)-pigmented primer delivers long-lasting brightness without embrittlement—making it suitable for both expressive and controlled techniques.
