Magnani Toscana is part of a complete range of top quality papers, perfect for wet techniques like watercolour.

Toscana watercolour papers are made exclusively on cylinder mould machines from 100% high-quality cotton fibres. The papers are internally and externally sized, guaranteeing excellent absorbency and durability for repeated layers of glazes and water.

Toscana's surface is natural white with a rough finish.

300 gsm, 20 sheets per block.

If you are a serious painter i wouldn’t recommend

If you are a serious painter i wouldn’t recommend this paper. I usually use Arches which is great but i tried this and experienced uneven drying/absorption and paint sitting on top of the paper, then being absorbed unevenly

Nice texture, watercolour pigments retain their colour well, sizing is uniform, lifting the paper piece from the block is even and not difficult.
