Holbein Artists' Watercolors are permanent and lightfast with unsurpassed consistency and colour brilliance. Unlike many manufacturers, Holbein produces their watercolours without ox gall or other dispersing agents, thus the paint moves more slowly, and allows for greater colour density and brush control.
I am such a big fan of Holbein Watercolours. It really is the only brand I use. To create orange I use either my carmine red or opera pink and mix it with either Indian yellow or gamboge yellow. For my purples again I will use either carmine red or opera pink with peacock blue. Very happy with the results!
