Easy to carve and easy to see your image before printing! Green Easy Cut Blocks offer a soft, block printing surface that carves away to a lighter green, revealing the mirror image of your print.
Use these thin 3̵mm (⅛″) flexible sheets on a printing press or by applying pressure with a baren or similar tool to create your relief print.

This is my favorite surface to carve. I have a set of Pfeil lino carving knives and they slide through these things blocks like butter 👌

Super thankful that Opus delivers to Atlantic Canada and for free over a certain amount! In my location, art stores are nonexistent so ordering can be very expensive, but Opus makes ordering easy and much less expensive. For many years, I used to order from a well-known Ontario art store but their offerings have greatly declined (at least, for online orders). Great service from Opus, will be a repeat customer!
...and still love them. They do emit a bit of odor when first opened, but I put mine out of the deck for a few hours and the smell dissipates... I can sometimes carve both sides of the plate as well, and it is easy to cut, and I can get upwards of 75 images from the same plate - using Speedball water based inks with retarder and/or extender. Very easy to clean as well...
A bit stinky but very easy to carve. I use speedball lino cutters and it glides through it like butter. It's really good for jigsaw prints and doing curvy lines.
This is a great product for quick carves; keeps its shape, endures cleaning with mild soap and water; holds ink quite well; stores easily.
These blocks are easy to work with while maintaining precision cutting that you sometimes lose with softer material. A problem is contrast; a graphite transfer isn't very clear and sharpies have hazy strokes. Also, tools have a tendency to tow in on long strokes and make the carving much deeper than intended so something to keep an eye on. If I could wish for one thing, it would be that it was made of two coloured layers to give a visual indication for carving depth and helpful contrast.
