GOLDEN Matte Medium is a general-purpose pourable, 100% pure acrylic polymer matte medium that have matting solids added to lower sheen. This medium is useful for extending colour, decreasing gloss, and increasing film integrity of acrylic colours. May also be used as a ground instead of regular gesso, as a Decoupage glue or temporary varnish. It is permanent and doesn’t crack when dry.

What can I say about Golden Mat Medium? It’s the only mat medium
I use so I can’t compare with anything else. It always does what it needs to do. Dilute, glue and I use it to coat my birch bark pieces to retain its colour

I’m trying to repair a large mural in someone’s home. The original artist has a very matt surface. Using this matt medium has been very helpful in getting the repair to blend in.
