Caran dache

These are smooth and loaded with pigment. They are basically a crayon. They react and draw just like a crayon but with more pigment. I tried them on regular sketchbook paper, card stock, watercolour paper and stone paper. The best results were on plain sketchbook paper. They do create a good resist for acrylic and watercolour. I don’t think I would buy them again.
