Buzz Presto Brushes have thick, hardy nylon bristles ideal for painting with acrylics. They're a great economy brush for a school budget, or for the beginner artist who wants to experiment. Medium stiffness bristles make them a suitable introduction to acrylic brushes, and their low cost makes them easy on your budget.

These acrylic brushes receive mostly positive feedback for being sturdy, easy to maintain, and versatile. Customers said they "hold paint nicely" and work well for large format murals. However, some beginners found the bristles too stiff for student-grade paints, making clean lines difficult and pushing paint rather than depositing it smoothly.

I have nothing bad to say about this brand and quality brush

I have nothing bad to say about this brand and quality brush. I paint large format mural surfaces, and work with novice painters. It's sturdy, it is easy to maintain, and is versatile.

Bristles are too stiff

I have had a lot of trouble getting these brushes to work for me. They tend to push the paint around instead of depositing it, which looks really terrible with student-grade paints that aren't super-pigmented. They barely flex even when I apply substantial pressure which makes it difficult to paint in clean lines (I am using them to paint pretty basic shapes and patterns). I am new to acrylic painting but I suspect that these brushes might work better for a very thick, heavy-body paint that is very pigmented...but these brushes are intended for beginners, and beginners are unlikely to be using paints that are higher in quality (and therefore, more pigments) than student-grade ones. I think I will try the Bravura line next, as those brushes are described as having soft bristles.
