Caran d'Ache Palette Aquarelle

The Caran d'Ache Palette Aquarelle is intended for application of dry matters to take advantage of concentrated pigments of water-soluble coloured and graphite pencils. One side is smooth the other is toothed.

Highly praised palette for watercolor and mixed media work. Customers said it's "smooth as silk" with excellent blending capabilities. Features dual-sided design - smooth for gouache and textured for pencils. Works great with various mediums including InkTense blocks and graphitint. Easy to clean and compact.

I bought this palette after reading great reviews on it and it doesn't disappoint . I rub my InkTense blocks on it and with a bit of water, dilute it to the consistency that I need. Works great and is easy to clean. Definitively recommend it

Love this palette, takes up little space on my desk and of course holds easily if painting on the easel. Because it is two sided it is very versatile. Smooth as silk for gouache and re-wetting and the rough side gives your pencil a nice edge. Oh, if it clean it makes a great mouse pad!
