About the product

YUPO Synthetic Paper Pads - Translucent

Go modern, go for the unique, go for YUPO!

YUPO Translucent premium synthetic paper is tree-free, offering a bright white, ultra smooth, and dimensionally stable surface with a neutral pH.

Because the surface is slick and non-absorbent, you can achieve non-traditional effects using traditional media, and non-traditional ones as well: acrylic painting, watercolour, alcohol inks, markers, oil pastel, pencil/graphite, silkscreen, monotype and offset.

The 140lb Text (153gsm) paper is translucent allowing light show-through. The effect of watercolor on YUPO Translucent makes for creative applications such as a stained glass effect when displayed in front of a light or window.

It is incredibly strong, won't stain or tear, can be wiped clean, and in this heavy weight is resistant to warping and buckling. Yupo is also 100% recyclable.

YUPO Translucent pads contain 15 sheets of 153 gsm (140 lb) paper.

  • 153 gsm / 140lb
  • 15 sht / pad
  • 100% Polypropylene
  • Made in USA
  • Acid Free
  • Neutral pH
  • Smooth Surface
  • Recyclable

Customers praised this synthetic paper with a 'velvety smooth surface' ideal for alcohol inks and ink transfer work. It offers reusability as inks can be washed off, making it fun and affordable for art projects. While customers love the translucent finish and versatility, some noted it presents both enjoyable and challenging characteristics.

  • Velvety smooth surface of the translucent paper.
  • Inks don't dry like on paper so the image can be washed off and reused.
  • Love the ability to transfer some inks as a layer of my work.

lots of fun to work with using alcohol inks.

i used it for a group art project, this packet was small and cheap. Inks don't dry like on paper so the image can be washed off and the Yupo used again. Lots of fun.
