About the product

YUPO Synthetic Paper Pads - Heavyweight

Go modern, go for the unique, go for YUPO!

YUPO Heavyweight premium synthetic paper is tree-free, offering a bright white, ultra smooth, and dimensionally stable surface with a neutral pH.

Because the surface is slick and non-absorbent, you can achieve non-traditional effects using traditional media, and non-traditional ones as well: acrylic painting, watercolour, alcohol inks, markers, oil pastel, pencil/graphite, silkscreen, monotype and offset.

It is incredibly strong, won't stain or tear, can be wiped clean, and is resistant to warping and buckling. YUPO is also 100% recyclable.

YUPO Heavyweight pads contain 10 sheets of 390 gsm (144 lb) paper.

I love yupo

I quite like working with Yupo & watercolor. It’s so unpredictable! Yupo is my favorite synthetic paper.

Yupo paper

I wanted to use the synthetic paper to make masks for monoprinting because I knew it would not easily tear. Turns out the paper I chose is a bit thick, should have gotten the thinner version.
