Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache

Great quality gouache paint. Only wish it came in a bigger size. Expensive but it goes a long way.

Great quality and results. It's been a long while since I've worked with gouache so a bit of a re-learning curve but at least I didn't have to deal with an inferior product. Gave me the result I wanted.

White was a bit thick and hard to get out of the tube.

I’m just starting with this medium and find the Windsor Newton gouache wonderful.

An easy dab for highlights on watercolour

Absolutely the best professional grade gouache. I have only chosen this brand since the 60s to work as a graphic illustrator and designer.

For my very first introduction to gouache, I chose the water soluble Winsor & Newton tube paint in Opera Rose. It is a total delight! The pigment load is amazing and easily covers over paint of anther colour, with a nice matte finish.

I absolutely love gouache paint. I was using it as an ink resist. However at $18 to $25 a tube I won’t be able to afford more than the three Color’s I chose.

excellent product- strong pigments -not chalky like some brands. You can work in thin layers easily.

I have been painting with gouache for many years, sold many pieces to collectors and have learned that the only gouache that gives me the colour, texture and quality I require is Winsor & Newton.

I use W&N Designers for anything I want to have the look of a medieval manuscript. Smooth handling. Can reduce opacity without losing the accuracy of colour; that is, transparency does not change colour. I recommend highly, and give to my students, too. Almost exclusively the contents of my gouache supplies.
