About the product

Opus Finest Cradled Wood Panels

Create impactful artwork with a high quality, handcrafted wood surface.

Opus Finest Cradled Wood Panels provide an excellent surface beyond just painting – make marks with acrylic, oil, mixed media, dry media, encaustic and even watercolour – or build upon it to make a 3D piece. This Canadian-crafted surface consists of 1¾″ pine stretcher bars and ¼″ thick Baltic birch plywood – thicker, sturdier, and heavier weight than other artist-quality cradled panels.

This rich plywood surface provides the ultimate choice – simply prepare this rigid surface with whatever ground is appropriate to your media.

  • Stretcher wood: Pine
  • Surface wood: Birch Plywood
  • Surface thickness: ¼″
  • Depth: 1¾″
