About the product
Opus Bowen Frames (Reg Glass) - Black
Simple & stylish wood frames for works on paper.
Opus Bowen Wood Frames are simple, contemporary wood frames that are suitable for exhibiting professional works of art on paper, photography, documents and certificates. The classic, clean-line design of the Bowen Frames provides a great way to protect and present work in way that will outlast many framing and home decor trends.
Bowen Frames provide a good visual balance without overpowering a person's ability to view the work inside the frame. These frames can enhance any work of art on paper, especially when paired with a Chai Pre-Cut Mat.
Available Finishes
Bowen Frames are available in 2 painted finishes – black and white.
Black frames are the most common finish for frames being used for exhibition purposes. White frames are particularly popular with photographers, illustrators and interior designers, as they are very neutral.

Stunningly beautiful frame. I was stumped about how to remove the clips on the back until I found this video. Then it was very easy.
I have purchased several dozen frames, both in-store and online, and have received first-class, friendly service from the staff! Buy with confidence from Opus, knowing you are getting quality and excellent service!
The frames are well made and easy to assemble. They work well with pieces I've created on either paper or board. Highly recommend.
The frame was attached to my painting in no time at all while I waited and watched how it’s done. Great frame, simple to attach, and affordable.
Looks great and I appreciated the very supportive help received while putting the print into the frame.
Thanks!
I found it easy to use and sturdy. I would recommend it.
Looks good works great
This frame is well made and looks great with a photo enlargement. I also had great service !!
I must have purchased hundreds of these frames over the last 10 years for my photography business. They are a great wooden frame that comes complete with everything you need except the mat ... you even get the hardware to hang it properly. How great is that! After checking other vendors and and websites these are still the best value and quality. I know the cost of these has increased but what hasn't?
Find it extremely difficult to get the artwork in to the frame without knowing how to take out the metal clips. Frame said it comes with instructions but it didn't. Would be helpful if they had instructions online available for view.
Frame seems nice but a little pricey for what it is.
This frame is great, very easy to use.

Had lots of trouble getting the little holders out to put my print in. I scratched the frame a bit doing it and wrecked one of the holders. Instructions would have helped.
Opus Bowen Frames (Reg Glass) - Black
I have selected the Opus Bowen Frames for my original drawings as the Bowen is simple, consistently well packaged, and frankly, offers an affordable yet elegant simplicity while protecting and displaying my original drawings.
I really like this new frame. I suits my painting and was very easy to put together.
I like them, but you have to be ultra careful with them as any slight knock against something while putting the print in and attaching hangers can result in a scrape or blemish!
Great frame at a reasonable price
These frames are sturdy, easy to assemble and come in a great range of sizes. I've been buying them ( as Bod frame ) for years for all my photos and artwork on paper.
Purchased frames for special 100th birthday congratulations from Queen Elizabeth 2 and Governor General for my father. Looks amazing!!!
