Demco's Modelling Compound is a smooth, heavy body, off-white medium created to boost structure and dimension, texture and relief.
Ideal for rigid surfaces like cradled wood panels, use it on non-oily, absorbent surfaces, applying with a palette knife or a dry brush. Create a layer at a time and allow to dry completely. Dries to an off-white, matte finish and can be sanded or carved once completely dry.
To increase suppleness on flexible surfaces, blend with acrylic medium. Experiment by adding acrylic colours directly into the modelling compound.
