About the product

Buzz Canvas Panels

Paint on a surface that’s more rigid, lighter, and more portable than stretched canvas.

Buzz Canvas Panels are a studio, classroom, and plein air essential for all ages, combining the stiffness of board with the texture of canvas. Made from 100% cotton canvas, wrapped and glued to a 3mm (1/8") MDF (medium density fibreboard) backing. These triple-primed acrylic gessoed panels are ready to use with acrylics. We recommend you add more coats of gesso for an even smoother finish or when using as a surface for oil painting.

This value-priced canvas panel is ideal for practice, art parties, quick home decor projects, kids’ art projects, and more.

These flat canvas panels offer a thin profile ideal for painting, framing, and mailing. Customers said they're "great for beginners" and work well with UV printers. The panels provide "quality canvas for an affordable price" with various sizes available. However, one customer noted poor quality, and the textured surface may require additional gesso coats for smoothness.

  • Love the sizes they come in, work the best with my UV printer.
  • Great for beginners and a great value!!
  • Reasonable prices and great to work on!

Buzz Canvas Panels

The Buzz canvas panels are a good option for those times that you need a very thin profile for a painting. They're easy to frame or to mail. I recommend applying a few additional coats of gesso, if you prefer a smoother surface to a textured.

Works wonderfully

Works wonderfully for being able to practice without having to sacrifice the space a regular canvas takes up.
