Amsterdam paint is a great value acrylic paint that offers a wonderful range of beautifully imagined colours to inspire your creativity.
The paint is good for student quality and has plenty of pigment for even coverage with vonsistent viscosity. However, the tubes are smaller and a bit more expensive since covid. Otherwise, I am very happy with the product.
I use this to colour my gesso when applying as a tonal underpainting for my canvas or board, so it doesn't need to be professional quality.
Best acrylic out there at that price point
It's very dayglo orange - staring at it too long might burn out my retinas.
I mostly use these paint for gell plate mono printing and for that purpose they are great. I’ve used some for mixing and under painting and so far they are satisfactory and a great

Do you have Amsterdam cadmium red

We don't carry any Amsterdam paints in cadmium colours, but if you're looking for an acrylic paint with cadmium in it, I would suggest either our house brand Opus Essential Acrylics or Golden Acrylics, which both have cadmium red available. For a more cost effective option, Liquitex Basics has "hue's" of cadmium colours, which mimic the qualities of cadmium paints without containing any cadmium.
