Seneca can be used with all acrylic, oil, and water-mixable oil paints. Willow Wolfe designed Seneca to ensure that the brush retains its shape for control and placement of colour, releasing paint evenly from expertly tailored synthetic filaments.

Seneca is available in a range of shapes and sizes and is created with a non-glare ferrule coupled with a beautifully crafted and balanced handle, perfect for Plein Air Artists.

Seneca is a story of artisans. From the handle finish to ferrule and filament, our craftsmen cultivate a deep sense of pride in what they do. Their passion is humbling. And their mastery of their craft is absolute.

Love this brush

Love this brush. It’s the first one that hasn’t lost its shape. I can draw fine lines with it, and it feels great in my hand.

Tough to load with enough oil paint to achieve a full stroke - may need more practice ...

I may need more practice in using them but I found it hard to load the brush with enough paint to make a full and solid paint stroke for things like whiskers or reeds by a pond. Too much paint and you get a thick blobby stroke, too little paint and you can't get a full whisker or reed and need to reload which is makes a pure whisker impossible. I'm using these for oil paint and may need to thin the paint further but thus far it's not a five star performance.
