Sunsets and Silhouettes with Stéphanie Prest-Beaucher
About This Experience
In this class you will be learning how to play with light and shadow to create a beautiful sunset in two kinds of ink. Stéphanie will guide you through making a richly coloured sunset background with a dark silhouette in the foreground through her three-step process of sketch, background, and dark foreground silhouette. We will begin with a preliminary sketch on watercolour paper and then create a colourful and vibrant background using ink. Finally, the dark silhouette will be made using fine detail brushes and India Ink. Experience the wonders of working with different types of inks and watercolours in both wet-on-wet and wet-and-dry applications!
